Louie Photography Gallery was established in 2011 as a non-profit venue for photographers to meet and showcase their work. The gallery plans to hold 2-4 exhibits a year showcasing works from local and international emerging artists.
About Larry Louie
Edmonton optometrist and international award winning photographer Larry Louie has been a fine art photography collector for many years. He had always wanted to establish a venue to highlight the work of local and international emerging photographers and photographs of all genres, not just your typical beautiful portraits and landscapes. His own work has been exhibited and published worldwide from Canada to the U.S., and Europe and Asia and has received international recognition and awards including the IPA Lucie Award; National Geographic; Travel Photographer of the Year Award in London, UK, and Humanitarian Documentary Grant with the World Photography Gala Award, Spain.
