Children are born with a creative attitude, an awareness and sensitivity to everything around them. As adults in their presence, they re-open our eyes to the world around us. They make us forget what we know and to look and explore things as if we have never seen them before. We absorb the beauty of their laughter. We are enlightened by the twinkles in their eyes as they see and respond with wonderment at their discoveries. We admire their ability to get lost in the smallest of things and their capacity to explore, discover and be puzzled. We are in awe of their inborn sense of wonder. As fortunate companions in their presence, we are able to explore and rediscover with him the pure joy, excitement and mystery of the world around us, with authenticity and simplicity. These images are about spending time with our young nephew, Ethan where he shared with us his discoveries, reactions and experiences as he embraces the world around him.
